Ethical Compliance: Authors must include a statement confirming that ethical approval was obtained for studies involving human or animal subjects and that informed consent was obtained where applicable. A copy of the ethics approval letter should be included in the submission.
Data Availability: Authors are encouraged to include a data availability statement indicating whether and where the data supporting the findings can be accessed.

Science-Based Areas: Contributions from science-based disciplines that engage with humanistic questions or that address issues of societal relevance, including but not limited to: environmental studies, medical humanities, digital humanities, science and technology studies, and geography.
Interdisciplinary Contributions: The journal particularly encourages submissions that cross disciplinary boundaries, combining perspectives from two or more of the above areas to address complex research questions.
